Called the Bohemia of Italy, Colle Val d'Elsa produces 95% of Italian crystal and accounts for 15% of global production. The crystal manufacture represents one of the best examples of knowledge transfer and innovation based on an antique tradition which originally arrived in this area in the 15th century.

San Gimignano

San Gimignano has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its 13th and 14th-century architecture that has remained intact. Beyond the fascinating medieval towers a visit to San Gimignano is also a great opportunity to discover great ceramics design, exquisite jewellery, decorated fabrics, handmade yarns and original leather items.
