The Garden of Sounds

Among the many activities for the whole family, it is impossible not to mention Boccheggiano, the 20th century mines and the Garden of Sounds. Boccheggiano, in fact, is a small village in the municipality of Montieri known for its long and important mining history. Walking around it is possible to be enchanted by the majestic Roste, fascinating red gullies that are the result of an intertwining of human activity and meteo-climatic conditions. A few minutes from the village, then, it is possible to visit, by reservation, the enchanted Garden of Sounds: a place resulting from the creativity of artist Paul Fuchs, a real attraction for children thanks to its very tall installations that move and emit sounds with the wind.
