What’s on in Florence this summer? Between June and September, the city offers residents and visitors a rich and varied calendar of events ranging from music to theater, dance to film. In addition to the most well-known spots, summer is likewise an opportunity to discover new and unusual places, which are opened, set up and reimagined from an artistic perspective in turn, to be enjoyed both day and night. A season surprisingly rich in events, with something to satisfy every taste.
Here are some ideas for summer 2026!

The children’s play area is perhaps one of the best-equipped but in the summer, there’s no shortage of attractions for adults as well. During the warmer months, you can enjoy an excellent aperitif at the bar and take part in a cultural program that ranges from art and music to Pilates and yoga classes for adults and teens. There’s no shortage of concerts and DJ sets. For the complete schedule of activities, check out the official Anconella Garden page.

From the outset, numerous initiatives were launched to render this a multicultural space, it soon becoming a hub for the cultural scene in Florence and beyond. Book presentations, discussions with authors, concerts, cocktail hours and after-dinner events featuring DJ sets are just a few of the activities on offer for a summer filled with culture and evenings spent with friends.
