An exhibition pathway veering between architecture and visual art

From April 2 to September 20, at the Castello Pasquini in Castiglioncello, comes the Fuksas Paladino 2026 exhibition that puts architecture and visual art in dialog through an encounter with Massimiliano, Doriana Fuksas and Mimmo Paladino

The exhibition flanks sketches, architectural models, sculptures and paintings that trace the international careers of the protagonists and their vision of the contemporary, while also giving a sense of the 20-year collaboration in the field of design and high craftsmanship.

The pathway explores the subtle boundary between artistic signs and built spaces, highlighting resonances, mutual influences and possibilities for comparison between the 2 disciplines.
Alongside monumental sculptures and iconic architectural models, such as those of La Nuvola in Rome and the Piedmont Region Tower, the exhibition presents for the 1ˢᵗ time ever a new silver chessboard, in which the figures designed by Fuksas face off against those modeled by Paladino, in the tradition of artist’s chess works.

Conceived as an immersive experience, the exhibition invites reflection on the forms of living and the aesthetics of the future.

For the occasion, the rooms of Castello Pasquini have been reorganized to create a fluid interaction between the installations, while respecting and exalting the historic architecture in which the works are housed.
