It's the symbol of Pisa. It's one of the most photographed places in Tuscany (and yes, usually we are all portrayed in strange poses!). It's perhaps the most famous tower in the world, due to that tiny, imperceptible, construction's problem! The Leaning Tower of Pisa is, of course, also one of the most visited monuments in the world. Additionally, for safety reasons, the entry is in turn, with a limited number of people. So, booking your visit really sounds like a good idea, isn’t it? Here's how. The only way to buy your ticket in advance is to go to the official website - here – and buy it online. But be careful! You’ll only be able to do it starting from 20 days before the day chosen for the visit, and up to 1 day before the visit. Each ticket will indicate the exact date and time of the visit. To purchase the online ticket you’ll need: an ID card, a credit card (the only method of payment accepted), the visitor's name and an email address. Reservations can be canceled or modified until the day prior to the visit. The same rules apply if you have the opportunity to go directly to the ticket offices of the Piazza del Duomo, in Pisa It’s not possibile to book by phone. Finally, take notice that, for safety reasons, children under the age of 8 are not allowed to enter the Tower. Under-18s may enter only in the company of an adult. The ticket costs 18 euro. It includes the entrance to the Cathedral.
