Tuscany takes care of its animals with an innovative and convenient agreement between the Scuole Superiore di Pisa and the association "Gatti Mammoni" . Yes! It's right, the famous top quality Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna's canteen leftovers will be recycled and used to feed stray dogs and cats. This is the agreement between the University and the animal activist association called "Gatti Mammoni". The food that hasn't been consumed by the students will be destined to feed cats and dogs hosted in the association's buildings. The agreement foresees that the canteen employees put aside the days letfovers, before 10pm, when volunteers will come and pick them up. It's a way for the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna to show its understanding of local problems and to show an intelligent use of energetic resourses. Have a look at some cute tuscan cats! :) Schermata 2010-11-08 a 12.20.39
