The MusArt Festival is a well-established events series in Estate Fiorentina. The series takes place in July and lasts about a week. It's framed by the charming Piazza della Santissima Annunziata in Florence which on the occasion becomes the ideal location to gather together all forms of art, from music and visits to art sites, to the screening of docu-films and photographic exhibitions.
Francesco Da Gregori, Baustelle, Roberto Bolle, Chick Corea, Jethro Tull, Ermal Meta, the Orchestras of Tuscany and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino are just a few of the leading performers who have been hosted in previous editions of the Musart Festival.
Before each show, it's generally possible to visit the gardens, places of worship and monumental palaces adjacent to Piazza Santissima Annunziata with free admission. There are also photographic exhibitions dedicated to the great Florentine concerts that were staged in the 80s and 90s.
