Cortona Comics

After the success of the first edition, Cortona Comics returns on May 25-26 and June 1-2, two weekends that will see the St. Agostino Convention Center, with its halls and cloister, transformed into the vital point of meetings with authors, live video broadcasts and many initiatives.

Compared to the 2023 edition, the exhibitions will also double: two more dedicated spaces will be added to the usual spaces in the central hall of the cloister and the halls of Palazzo Ferretti, making the Cortona Comics experience a complete immersion.

An educational/cultural journey that will also take place in the days between the two weekends, during which courses curated by the International School of Comics of Florence will be offered again, after last year's incredible response.

Partners are also increasing. The last year's associations and protagonists, such as Papersera dedicated to the Disney world, or the Dylan Dog Fans Club, are joined by others, such as Lo Scarabocchiatore (now also a publishing house), Cut - Up Publishing, Darkcaveofcomics, IosonoFrekt and many others, which will organize live broadcasts on their online channels and present panels and special initiatives, in an interface between the in-person and online audiences. 

Much attention will also be paid to the awards: the prestigious Golden Jac (Jac d'oro), dedicated to the memory of the great Jacovitti, will be joined by others dedicated to the great guests in attendance, so as to celebrate their work and career.
