Flavors and history: an authentic Maremma cuisine experience
Cooking class in Scansano and afternoon visit to the medieval village of Magliano
In Maremma, cooking is a sacred ritual passed down from generation to generation.
Each dish holds family secrets and a story that no traditional guide can fully reveal: a narrative of ancient gestures and genuine local ingredients that faithfully follow the rhythm of the seasons.
This Tuscan culinary tradition is learned with love and dedication, often by silently observing expert hands crafting the ingredients.
During this experience in the charming village of Scansano, we will have the privilege of learning these skills at our leisure. Under the guidance of an expert local chef, you will learn the essence behind every recipe, from the preparation of handmade pasta to the selection of local products.
You will be guided and corrected step by step, discovering the secrets of iconic dishes like Maremma tortelli or traditional peasant soups.
It's a sensory journey designed for those seeking an authentic connection with the gastronomic roots of this land, where flavor meets history in every bite.
In the afternoon, we'll reach Magliano in Toscana. With our guide, we'll explore the village, strolling through its streets and along the medieval walls.

The dessert session is part of the experience: you prepare the doughs behind the specialties most rooted in this land.
