E-biking through Camaldoli and Monte Penna
Sacred forest and mountain panoramas: two places that touch the soul
You ride through the Sacred Forest of Camaldoli – a thousand years of monastic history enclosed within silver firs that almost reach 50 metres in height, protected by the Benedictine monks since 1012 as a spiritual heritage even before being a natural one – and on to Monte Penna, the panoramic terrace overlooking the Ridracoli dam and the Lama forest.
Two different kinds of silence: the green, fragrant silence of the woods, filled with resin, humus and branches that filter the light; and the open, dizzying silence of the summit, where Casentino, Romagna and the entire Tuscan-Romagna Apennines unfold in a 360° view at your feet. Electric assistance makes it possible to connect these two places in a single day, providing a rare experience in which nature, history and spirituality intertwine in the most natural way.

For any type of activity and/or excursion, the person making the booking is always required to pay a deposit equal to at least 70% of the total cost of the activity referred to in the previous point ("COST"), to be paid within the deadline set by the Guide(s).
The deposit is not due if the booking is cancelled at least 20 days before the scheduled date (unless otherwise specified).
Should the activity be postponed or cancelled by decision of the Guide(s) (for example due to weather conditions, failure to reach the minimum number of participants required to run the activity, lack of safety conditions, etc.), the amount paid as a deposit may be redeemed within one year by taking part in another of activities organized by Altertek.
