Certaldo contryside ebike tour self-guided
A scenic circular route through the vineyards and olive groves of Semifonte, with a final stop in the ancient medieval village
After departing from Certaldo, you quickly enter the hilly landscape surrounding the village, passing through characteristic, quiet, panoramic areas. One of the most evocative points of the tour is the passage near the Chapel of San Michele Arcangelo in Semifonte, with its sweeping views of the vineyards and Tuscan countryside that make this stretch particularly scenic. The route continues along gentle dirt roads and secondary asphalt roads, maintaining a smooth and relaxing pace, perfect for enjoying the area at your own pace.
Along the way, there are plenty of scenic spots ideal for a break or a few photos, immersed in an authentic Tuscan setting. The final section of the tour returns to Certaldo, passing through Certaldo Alto, the medieval village overlooking the valley and representing one of the most beautiful moments of the entire route.
The tour is available year-round, with a flexible departure based on your needs: simply book in advance and arrive at the rental point at the agreed-upon time. This experience is suitable for intermediate cyclists, and is perfect in spring and autumn when the Valdelsa hills offer their most spectacular colors.
Parking is available directly at the shop, and there are plenty of parking spaces in the area.
