A splendid and iconic square overlooked by Palazzo Vecchio, the seat of civil power, and the famous Loggia dei Lanzi, Piazza della Signoria appears before the viewers' eyes just like a postcard. Here Lenù and Pietro arrive on the important day of their wedding. Before entering the palace, they park their 600 car debating one of the hot topics of the time: the contraceptive pill. In the following scene, they exchange their wedding rings in the red room of the Palazzo Vecchio. What for Lenu was a dream of emancipation from her own family is now a dream come true.
