From July through September, Arezzo and its surroundings come alive to a wide variety of cultural events and experiences, offering something new to discover in the city every day.
The season kicks off with Estate in Fortezza, a summer festival at the Medici Fortress in Arezzo featuring live music, theater and shows.
Starting on July 12, Arezzo will become a city-wide stage, thanks to the Arezzo Dance Hub event, bringing dance performances to museums and to the historic center.
From July 14 to 19, Parco il Prato will host the MenGo Music Fest: five days of concerts featuring a variety of genres, including indie, rock, electronic and the new contemporary music scene.
Outside the city, music meets nature with Naturalmente Pianoforte, a festival taking place across the Casentino Valley.
Through the E di Arezzo project, Discover Arezzo features and highlights the summer’s most significant events, with a constantly updated selection for citizens and visitors who want to experience the area. Here, we present some of the most important events of 2026, but you can view the full line-up at discoverarezzo.com
From July 12 to 19, 2026, Arezzo Dance Hub returns to the city. This major project, promoted by the cultural association Progetti Per La Danza, celebrates its 14th anniversary of activity in the area year.
The city is transformed into a city-wide stage, bringing together art, professional training and entertainment along with the discovery of local historical treasures. The festival was created with the goal of promoting the art of dance in its various forms, taking it beyond traditional settings and creating a direct dialog with the historic center, museums, squares and the city’s cultural spaces.
The week brings a packed schedule of events to the city: exclusive performances at museums, artistic pop-ups and urban events, masterclasses with renowned instructors, as well as street dance and hip-hop contests in the stunning setting of Piazza Grande, culminating in the grand closing gala at the Medici Fortress featuring the show “La danza delle emozioni” (The Dance of Emotions). A mixture of promising young talents and established professionals will share the stage, among whom the prominent Arezzo-born artists Mattia Longhitano and Elena Bidini, who took their first steps here and are now leading figures in the international world of dance.
The Men/Go Music Fest 2026 returns to Arezzo, from July 14 to 18, in the setting of Parco Il Prato, a green space just a short walk from the historic center, with a special preview event on Saturday, July 11, featuring Subsonica.
The program sticks to the formula that has made Men/Go a landmark event for live music in the city over the years: five days of concerts featuring Italian and international artists, with a varied lineup including indie, rock, electronic and the new contemporary music scene. The events are scheduled to start at 6 PM, with live performances until midnight.
Names on the program include: Motta, Emma Nolde, Maria Antonietta and Colombre, Ele A, Birthh, Ditonellapiaga, Casino Royale, Mind Enterprises, Shame, 2ManyDJs, Zen Circus, I Cani, Myd, Idles DJ set, Mille, Vintage Violence and Napoli Segreta DJ set.
From July 11-19, 2026, music will once again echo throughout the Casentino Valley with the festival organized by Pratoveteri APS in collaboration with the Foreste Casentinesi National Park and the Municipality of Pratovecchio Stia.
100 pianos, 130 pianists, over 60 musicians, more than 50 locations, 10 participating municipalities and a network of 350 volunteers: these numbers speak volumes about the scale of this unique cultural project that transforms an entire valley into one vast, open-air stage.
The theme of the 2026 edition of Naturalmente Pianoforte is “No boundaries between genres”, an invitation to break down barriers, mix artistic languages and create spaces for connection through music. Staged across villages, parish churches, castles and the extraordinary landscapes of the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, every concert becomes an experience where nature, culture and communities come together.
