66th Puccini Festival
One of the most important opera festivals in Italy
Among the most important opera festivals in Italy is the Puccini Festival at Torre del Lago, the only one in the world dedicated to the composer Giacomo Puccini. This year's edition will be held from July 17 to August 23, right in the place that inspired the maestro’s immortal works.
Ever since its inception in 1930 this festival has remained a prestigious event, attracting thousands of spectators from all over the world to view the greatest opera stars under the direction of renowned conductors. The location of the festival is particularly intriguing: a large open-air theatre on the shore of Lake Massaciuccoli, right in front of the Maestro's House Museum.
For the 66th edition, 16 events are scheduled with international stars, who will interpret the works of the famous composer, including Tosca, Turandot, La Bohème, Madama Butterfly and Manon Lescaut.
