Path of the White Giant by bike

The percorso del Gigante Bianco (path of the White Giant) winds through Arezzo and the Valdichiana and encounters medieval towns and ancient villages, leopoldine (rural houses) and farms, reclamation works and sunflower fields. Breath-taking views and evidence of a past rooted in the Etruscan civilization: all with chianina beef as a common thread. 

Along the path you can visit the breeding farms of the world's best-known cattle breed and taste the true Pgi meat. Each kilometer offers a pleasant discovery, allowing for an experience in direct contact with the excellence and beauty of an area where human ingenuity has been integrated perfectly into the beauty of nature.

Being a loop, the path of the White Giant can be taken from any locality. The starting points we suggest are in any case two: from Arezzo (a city from which the Reclamation Trail and the railway lines begin) or from Sinalunga (a city in the heart of the Valdichiana and at the center of the itinerary). In addition, the loop is interconnected with the Land Reclamation Trail bicycle path that connects Arezzo to Chiusi along the Canale Maestro della Chiana for 62 kilometers of flat land that can be easily traveled by all.
