Val di Luce, Selletta, Doganaccia and Casetta dei Pulledrari are the 4 ski resorts that comprise this ski paradise. Cross-country ski runs, snowboarding areas, school fields, a kids’ area and scenic routes are just some of the amenities that await you for your week on the snow. Groups of friends, couples, families ... everyone is welcome to come and create their own tailor-made vacation.

Skiing and more in Abetone. Also of great prestige is the traditional cuisine, where hand-rolled pastry accompanies mushrooms and game. Very tasty are the berry tarts and mountain recipes, which can be enjoyed at a Rifugio (mountain hut) of your choosing on the slopes.

Barrier-free skiing

Abetone is also one of the best-equipped ski resorts for disabled people, thanks to a system of reserved parking spaces, changing rooms, qualified ski instructors and ad hoc equipment such as the monoski and dualski, offering complete autonomy on the slopes and lifts.

Not just skiing

Some of the area’s most interesting initiatives include nighttime descents on full moon evenings with dinner at altitude in a Rifugio, as well as snowshoe hikes or Nordic walking routes in snowy forests.

Finally, unparalleled is the vista from the summit of Monte Gomito, the station’s highest point (6332 feet or 1930 meters). On sunny days, the view extends as far as Corsica and turning north, to the snow-capped peaks of the Alps and Pre-Alps.
