Livorno hosts the exhibition-market dedicated to greenery

Taking place in Livorno from April 17 to 19 is the 14ᵗʰ edition of Harborea - Festa delle Piante e dei Giardini (Festival of Overseas Plants and Gardens), the market exhibition dedicated to greenery and landscape.
For the 1ˢᵗ time, the event is being held in spring, when blooms are at their finest, covering the entire area of the 19ᵗʰ-century park of Villa Mimbelli.

For 3 days, the park welcomes plants, flowers, shrubs and everything that revolves around the world of gardens, including botany, crafts, landscape culture and gastronomic offerings.
Over 80 stalls will showcase Mediterranean varieties, roses, irises, hydrangeas, acidophiles, bonsai, succulents and other ornamental species, along with outdoor furniture accessories, design creations and antiques right in Livorno.

The theme of the 2026 edition is Mediterranean Crossroads of Civilizations, represented on multiple occasions during the event.

Among the special events will be the International Floral Art Competition slated for Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 at the Granai di Villa Mimbelli, with an awards ceremony on Saturday 18 at 5:30 pm in the villa’s quaint theater.
The public will likewise be able to view the submissions and vote for the finalists in the Fioriture Urban (Urban Blooms) photography contest, the award ceremony for which will be on Sunday, April 19 at 5:30 pm.
