Trekking on the Piombino promontory
Enjoy the sea of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park
This itinerary has rightfully entered the ranks of the great excursions of the Etruscan Coast. It offers grandiose views of the Archipelago National Park and the imposing limestone cliffs, accompanied by the scents of the Mediterranean scrub and holm oak woods. Along the way you come across coves and beaches with incredible colours, immersed in the atmosphere full of charm and mystery of Etruscan history.
We will start from the "Reciso" car park heading towards Buca delle Fate, a stretch of coast made spectacular by the colors of the rocks and the sea.
We will continue towards the pebbly Cala San Quirico, we will follow a path in the forest of laws which will offer beautiful views of the sea below. We will pass over Cala del Termine, Punta Rio Fanale and Fosso alle Canne.
We will enjoy a delicious packed lunch by the sea before returning to Populonia, among heather, cistus and mastic bushes. The itinerary will end under the spectacular tower.
The tour will take place on Saturday 27 April 2024 with departure at 9.30 am.

The guide reserves the right to make changes to the hike to ensure the safety of the group, or to cancel the hike in case of bad weather and/or alertness.
The Excursion will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 25 people.
