This e-bike tour between Montepulciano, Pienza and Monticchiello combines landscape, culture and historic villages. You will ride through the hills, cypress trees, farmhouses and gravel roads of the Val d’Orcia, with continuous photo opportunities and passages near two special places: the historic centre of Pienza and the cultural landscape of the Val d’Orcia, both recognised by UNESCO. Monticchiello adds a quiet, medieval character, ideal for a break before returning. It is a scenic and rewarding bike tour, not technical, but with climbs to be tackled at a steady pace.
When to do this tour?
Recommended in spring, autumn and on mild winter days. In summer, it is best to start early in the morning or around sunset: the route crosses open areas with little shade. Avoid the tour in heavy rain, on wet surfaces or during intense heat in the middle of the day.

- Free cancellation: you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour start time.
- Late cancellations: for cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time, or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Date changes: date changes are not possible. If needed, you must cancel according to the terms above and make a new booking (subject to availability and current prices).
- Extras: bookings for extras (bike and accessory rental, tastings, light lunch, other services) follow the same rules as the tour: full refund up to 24 hours before; within 24 hours of the start time or in case of no-show, the full amount is forfeited.
- Weather and trail conditions: in case of bad weather or unsafe conditions (alerts, closures, restrictions), the tour may be cancelled for safety reasons. In these cases, a refund will be issued according to the rules above; any services already started/provided are non-refundable.
- How to cancel: cancellation must be requested via the channel indicated in the booking confirmation (email/WhatsApp/phone). The time the request is received is the one that counts.
