By e-bike Through the Monteregio Vineyards, with a Tasting to Finish
A scenic ride between Valpiana and Massa Marittima with a stop at a winery and a light lunch among the vineyards
On e-bikes, we depart from the hamlet of Valpiana and pedal along country roads and cypress-lined avenues to Tenuta Morisfarms, one of the most established wineries in the Massa Marittima area.
The 25-kilometer circular route, on asphalt and dirt roads, passes through the estate's vineyards and the Maremma hills that stretch as far as the eye can see behind them. Along the way, we pedal through the very vineyards where Monteregio di Massa Marittima DOC is produced: the controlled designation of origin for this part of Tuscany, produced primarily from Sangiovese grapes.
The surrounding landscape changes with the passing of the seasons, offering a deep green in spring and golden hues during the grape harvest.
The experience concludes on the charming terrace of Morisfarms with a light lunch and a tasting of the estate's Monteregio DOC wines.
Here, the wine follows the same path as its visitors, from the rows of vines immersed in nature directly to the glass, to be sipped while watching the sun paint the sky ablaze as it sets over the Maremma hills.

The route runs on paved and dirt road sections. Perfect for all levels, no cycling experiences required — suitable for adults and teenagers from 12–14 years up who can handle the distance. The ride is on e-bikes.
