The therapeutic properties of the waters
The waters of Bagno Vignoni gush from the earth at a temperature of 120 °F (49 °C) and feed the thermal pools, one with temperatures between 95 °F (35 °C) and 100 °F (38 °C), the other between 82 °F (28 °C) and 90 °F (32 °C).
Appreciated since ancient times and by such notables as Lorenzo the Magnificent, Pope Pius II, and Saint Catherine, these waters are rich in calcium, iron and zinc, helping to soothe respiratory, bone (arthritis and rheumatism) and skin ailments.
The thermal bath establishment and services
La Posta Hotel’s outdoor thermal pools are accessible to both hotel guests and outsiders, granting everyone the pleasure of soaking in the soothing and relaxing thermal waters. Inside the hotel, the spa provides wellness rooms that harmoniously connect to the outdoor thermal pool via an intermediate indoor pool designed to offer an intimate and private bathing experience.
The experience is enriched by a variety of services, including a whirlpool bath, Finnish and biosaline saunas, a steam room and even a salt grotto and relaxation room.
