From June 6 to July 10 the Festival Toscano di Musica Antica (Tuscan Festival of Early Music) returns to Pisa, Calci, Vicopisano and Camaiore with a musical journey touching on different eras, cultures and languages.
The program invites the audience to follow a journey of sound ranging from 17ᵗʰ-century atmospheres to contemporary vibes, from folk roots to dialogs between distant cultures. Each concert opens on a new perspective, where music becomes storytelling, encounters, theater and discovery, capable of uniting places, languages and sensibilities.
The festival offers a program designed to listen to music not just as a performance but as an experience to be savored, as a space in which to be delighted, to traverse different worlds of sound and look at the present through the heritage of early music.
