In the picturesque medieval village of Pari, nestled in the hills of the province of Grosseto, from September 25 to 27 is the Salsiccia Festival (Sausage Festival), offering a unique atmosphere comprised of authentic flavors, food stands rich in typical products plus live music to experience moments of conviviality and tradition in the heart of Tuscany.
This gastronomic event celebrates not only the famous sausage from Pari but an abundance of other traditional specialties, from Polenta alla Boscaiola (polenta with a mushroom, sausage and tomato sauce) to Tagliatelle al Cinghiale (pasta with wild boar), to the tasty Pari-style grilled meats and fragrant porcini mushrooms, not to mention many other local delicacies all to be savored.
