Archaeology unveiled in Sesto Fiorentino

Moments of life on the plain before, during and after the Etruscans

The exhibition, set up in the Ernesto Ragionieri Library in Sesto Fiorentino, presents part of the trousseau found inside the majestic Montagnola Tomb, one of the most important Etruscan funerary monuments in central Italy, and other extraordinary artifacts from the Sesto Fiorentino area, evidence of a history spanning millennia, from the Neolithic to the Roman age.

A unique opportunity to admire relics that are usually not visible because they are kept in storage.

The exhibition will remain open from September 29, 2023 to July 31, 2024, during the opening hours of the Ernesto Ragionieri Library, which can be viewed online at

Free entrance.
