Bike Festival and Tuscany Urban Cup

An event dedicated to the bike world and more

In Colle Val d’Elsa on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, the Colle Bike Festival returns with 2 days dedicated to biking, sports and outdoor activities, offering a program involving adults, children and enthusiasts. 

Piazza Arnolfo will be the heart of the event, including an expo area, bike tests, shows, trekking, bike rides, activities for children plus music and food. 

Events on Saturday, April 25 kick off at 9:00 am with the opening of the festival in the presence of municipal authorities. 
Scheduled all day, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, is the Giocociclismo with cycling games for children and teens ages 3 to 15, the Bike Expo Area with bike tests, food and music, as well as the Photo Exhibit focused on cycling in Colle and Valdelsa. 
The program then proposes a dog walk and urban trek, a cultural bike ride and sports ride, all meeting at the dedicated gazebo in Piazza Arnolfo by the fountain. 
At 10:50 am, there is a commemoration of April 25 (Italy’s Liberation Day) with the laying of a wreath at the monument to the fallen, while at 11:45 am, 3:30 pm and 5:00 pm, there will be the freestyle trial with world bike trial champion Luca Tombini
Following at 3:00 pm is a free guided tour of the Crystal Museum for all trekking and biking participants. 
From 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, space is then dedicated to activities for 4-legged friends with Mobilità Cane. Then from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, there is a Spinning Long Ride demonstration by Polisportiva Olimpia.

Slated for Sunday, April 26 is the Urban Downhill Race, reserved for Italian Cycling Federation members. From 8:00 am to 10:00 am will be the paddock set-up, license verification and track walking. 10:30 am to 12:30 pm will be set aside for free practice then at 2:00 pm, the 1ˢᵗ heat will be held followed by the 2ⁿᵈ at 3:30 pm.  

All events are free, with reservations for some activities being appreciated.
