Special Evening Openings: Where the Sea Meets Archaeology
The Baratti and Populonia Archaeological Park welcomes
you with special opening hours thanks
to Archeo-Sunset, a unique
event designed for experiencing
archaeology at the most atmospheric time of day.
Every Sunday in July and August,
from 3 PM to 9 PM, visitors can stroll among wonders dating back thousands of
years, bathed in the warm light of
sunset, on a journey that combines the charm of the sea with ancient
history.
An extraordinary chance to discover the park’s archaeological heritage in an
evocative setting, surrounded by nature, scenery and memories of the past.
During the August openings, you
can also take part in guided tours - available only in Italian - which are part of the Etruschi 85-25 project anddedicated to Etruscan civilization: a journey
through the traditions, culture and legacy of one of the most important peoples
of ancient Italy.
An opportunity to experience the Baratti and Populonia Archaeological Park in a
different light, combining archaeology, nature and sunsets over the sea.
