Guided tours in English at the Palazzo Pretorio Museum in Prato
In July, the Palazzo Pretorio Museum in Prato is offering international visitors an art event each week.
On Sunday, July 19 and 26 at 11:30 am, there will be guided tours in English designed to provide a deeper understanding of the museum’s collections and history.
The tour takes participants on a journey through paintings, sculptures and other works of art that chronicle 7 centuries of history, offering insight into the works on display in the galleries and the context in which they were created.
The tour also offers visitors the chance to explore Palazzo Pretorio, a 13ᵗʰ century building in the heart of Prato, and to learn more about the events that have made it one of the city’s key landmarks in terms of its artistic and cultural history.
