Anghiari Gravel Road
Sunday, May 24, in Anghiari comes the 2ⁿᵈ edition of Asprevie, an experience in the heart of the Apennines among forests, centuries-old villages and roads that cross the Valtiberina Toscana—a border land, marked by water and stone, where nature and culture, past and present intertwine in a landscape to be discovered, pedal after pedal.
The event takes place mainly in the territory of the municipality of Anghiari, also passing through the lands of Monterchi and Sansepolcro.
There are 3 routes of different length and difficulty, to be selected at the time of registration:
- Short course - 33 miles/53 kilometers with an indicative elevation gain of about 2408 feet/734 meters
- Medium route - 46 miles/74.2 kilometers with an indicative elevation gain of about 3740 feet/1,140 meters
- Long route - 71 miles/114.1 kilometers with an indicative elevation gain of about 6896 feet/2,102 meters
Riders can participate on gravel bikes and MTBs, including e-bikes, so long as they comply with the Highway Code.
