In the spring of 2020 we made this itinerary, thinking of the urge to walk again soon.
By participating in this 12-day and 11-night trek, first suspended between Tuscany and Emilia and then through the evocative corners of the Apuan Alps, you can bring your tent, your mattress and your sleeping bag with you (alternatively you can use one of the tents that we will put at your disposal).
We will take care of transporting your luggage and your equipment between the different stopping places, you can walk easily, accompanied by a guide, carrying in your backpack (we recommend a 25/30 litres) only the bare essentials for your day open air.
The itinerary we propose partly covers the classic Great Apennine Excursion in an exciting route, between villages and little-frequented paths of great beauty and charm.
Later, having reached the slopes of the Apuan Alps, we will cross them walking along some of the most important peaks choosing an unusual route that offers special views, a different approach and a unique experience.
We will start our trekking from the medieval village of Sillico and we'll end the journey in Fornovolasco, another of our favorite places. We will complete our last day with a ring-route using a fun and ecological means: the electric mountain bike.
We will across a route that combines medieval villages, ancient mule tracks, ancestral transhumance paths, bridges and panoramic stretches of the highest and beautiful Apuan peaks.
