After booking, you will receive instructions to download the Outdoora app, where you can unlock the full tour experience. The app provides the GPS track, navigation, and points of interest along the route, guiding you throughout the entire ride.
On the day of the tour, you will meet at our e-bike rental shop in Capoliveri, where you will receive your electric bike along with a short briefing on the controls, assistance levels, and safety tips, ensuring you start your ride with confidence.
The route follows a 25 km loop featuring a varied and rolling profile. Some climbs are a bit steeper, but the e-bike makes the ride enjoyable and accessible. The tour is particularly recommended with an e-MTB, or with a MTB or gravel bike if you are comfortable riding on dirt roads.
The itinerary then leads toward the historic Calamita mining area, where the landscape tells the story of Elba’s industrial past. Along the way you will pass through remarkable locations such as the Mining Museum and the Miniera del Vallone, surrounded by striking scenery where nature has gradually reclaimed the former mining sites.
Continuing along the route, you will enjoy beautiful coastal sections and panoramic sea views, alternating between gravel roads and scenic trails leading to the Tenuta delle Ripalte estate and the charming Istia Beach. These spots offer perfect opportunities to stop, relax, and take in the unique atmosphere of Elba.
This tour is best enjoyed at a relaxed pace and is ideal for a half-day outdoor experience. In the quieter and less serviced sections of the route, it is recommended to bring water, a snack, and a fully charged phone, so you can enjoy the ride with complete peace of mind.

Cancellation
and no-show policies
- Free cancellation: you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the tour start time.
- Late cancellations: for cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time, or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued.
- Date changes: date changes are not possible. If needed, you must cancel according to the terms above and make a new booking (subject to availability and current prices).
- Extras: bookings for extras (bike and accessory rental, tastings, light lunch, other services) follow the same rules as the tour: full refund up to 24 hours before; within 24 hours of the start time or in case of no-show, the full amount is forfeited.
- Weather and trail conditions: in case of bad weather or unsafe conditions (alerts, closures, restrictions), the tour may be cancelled for safety reasons. In these cases, a refund will be issued according to the rules above; any services already started/provided are non-refundable.
- How to cancel: cancellation must be requested via the channel indicated in the booking confirmation (email/WhatsApp/phone). The time the request is received is the one that counts.
