Authentic flavors and culinary traditions

On October 4 in Colle Val d’Elsa, in the historic center of Colle Alta, from the Ponte del Campana to the Baluardo, is the Festa della Gota Cotta, an initiative celebrating one of the local gastronomic excellences, a cured meat made from pork cheek that is boiled and enriched with spices.

During the event, local restaurateurs, chefs and producers offer up traditional and creative recipes, accompanied by wines from local wineries and craft beers.

The festival is likewise a social occasion with live music, DJ sets, shows and children’s activities in a lively atmosphere for the whole family. An event that combines tradition, taste and togetherness.
