July and August the Nights of Archeology return, eagerly awaited by a large audience of enthusiasts and not only: extraordinary evening and night openings, dedicated events in museums, areas and archaeological parks in Tuscany. An unmissable opportunity to discover the immense archaeological heritage of Tuscany. The rich program is aimed at audiences of all ages and the schedule meets various needs, also including events dedicated for those with disabilities.
This year's edition, marked by the difficulties caused by the health emergency of Covid-19, is of special value as it is twenty years since the first edition. The museums, parks and archaeological areas, after a forced but necessary closure imposed by the lockdown, resume welcoming the public. The Nights of Archeology are therefore an opportunity to participate in visits with new approaches, organized and designed in an original way, as required by the safety regulations.
With the Nights of Archeology this year we therefore want to promote our furthest past, but also to give a positive signal, a sign of the recovery of cultural life.
The rich program of Nights of Archeology, aimed at audiences of all ages, includes extraordinary evening and night openings, lectures on archeology, urban trekking and archaeological sites, guided visits for families and adults and educational workshops dedicated to children where they can try their hand at fun activities.
