Crostini Salsiccia and Stracchino Recipe


One of those things you feel guilty about.... however, that creamy mix over the crunchy bread is absolutely perfect and now it's too late to start counting calories. Very fast and easy, a perfect starter.


  • 3 tuscan sausages*
  • 250 g of stracchino cheese
  • salt and peper
  • fennel seeds
  • 1 baguette


Take your sausages and after making a small cut on one of the two ends take the skin away.  Place in a bowl with your stracchino, salt and peper and if the sausages do not contain fennel seeds add a small spoon of fennel seeds. Mix well. Cut your baguette and place some of the mixture onto each slice. Spread well and place in a preheated oven for a few minutes. The result must not be super crunchy but the topping should form a slight crust.  *Tip Tuscan sausages, salsiccia toscana, is simple there are no peppers, onion, oregano or other spices, simply meat, salt, peper, fennel seeds and garlic.
