The routes can be enjoyed all year round and with any kind of bike (but the Gravel is the ideal bike), starting from any one of the municipalities you cros, moving forward even over several days.

The permanent route takes life from the values of the Eroica making it a unique phenomenon widespread around the world. A proposal aimed at those who also use bicycles for their vacations. Over 200 kilometers, from Gaiole in Chianti to Montalcino through the most evocative villages and hamlets of this territory.

From the Chianti Classico up along the Brunello routes in Montalcino, this landscape, in addition to being the protagonist in the three Eroica-branded events (Classic Gaiole and Montalcino, Nova in Buonconvento), represents the most emotional moment a cyclist can live at any time of the year.

Landscapes, unique villages and towns, culture, food and wine, spas, relaxation, sports, all the prerequisites for an unforgettable vacation at any time of the year. A real philosophy related to the promotion of "slow" tourism, the protection and enhancement of the territory, the adoption of good practices and a correct and healthy lifestyle, always respecting the environment.

The permanent route of the Eroica develops for a total of 208 kilometers through Terre di Siena, Chianti and Val d’Orcia making a journey into the essence of the legendary Tuscan landscape and has technical features that make this route a great opportunity for cycletourists. The route is characterized by continuous movement on paved and unpaved roads and has a total drop of about 3,400 meters.

The route can be completed throughout the whole year.
