The Pecci Center for Contemporary Art in Prato (8km out of Florence) knows that we like to drink and play around our contemporary art. The current exhibitions, a solo exhibit of work by Paolo Canevari and new acquisitions from Gianni Pettena, are open until August 1st. This summer they are proposing the following fun activities and late night openings:
Late night at the museumEvery Wednesday (starting 09/06/2010) open from 19-23, guided tour at 21, and late night opening. Free. Of particular note, the famous italian DJ Albertino (or Radio DJ) will be spinning discs at the Pecci on Thursday July 1, starting at 10pm. Free.
