The taste of Querceta olive oil is fruity and light, yet it also has a decisive flavor. It’s greenish-yellow and very bright. The olives are harvested by hand, before being stored and transported to the mill. Extraction takes place in traditional mills, thanks to continuous cycles. The oil is then stored in containers made of steel or marble. Later, it gets bottled. This unique olive oil is produced both for local consumption and for direct sale. The typical nature of this product is strongly linked to local traditions and it is produced with a single variety of olives. Due to its pungent, almost spicy flavor, this oil is best served raw, drizzled over fresh vegetables or on ‘bruschetta’ garlic bread.
