Asciano Contrade Market
On the occasion of the arrival of the Treno Natura in Asciano, the village comes alive for a special day celebrating conviviality and tradition, with music, local flavors, and culture in the heart of the Crete Senesi.
The Contrade of Asciano welcome visitors as the historic town center is transformed into a festive atmosphere with an artisan and local products market.
- Market opening from 10:00 AM
- For walking enthusiasts, don’t miss “The Road of the Soul”, a walk along the historic Via Lauretana.
Departure at 10:00 AM; booking required at +39 334 7508566 - Food stands open from 11:30 AM at Arena Italia, offering many local specialties
- Arrival of the charming Treno Natura at 12:00 PM
- Preview of the historical parade at 12:30 PM
- Throughout the day, Palazzo Corboli Museum and Cassioli Museum will also be open to visitors from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- In the afternoon: roaming music with the Dixie Jazz Band, traditional square games “Il Nocino”, a workshop dedicated to the world of bees… and plenty of fun for adults and children alike!
- Grand finale with a performance by the students of the “G. Verdi” Philharmonic Music School of Asciano at 5:30 PM, in Piazza Garibaldi.
