The Village of Christmas

From December 1, 2023 to January 7, 2024, Sansepolcro will host the second edition of "The Village of Christmas", the event that brings the festive atmosphere and warmth of the Christmas season to the streets of the village.

Village of Christmas
At the Christmas market, with its new wooden houses, it will be possible to find many gift ideas, unique and original creations, with a wide selection of special products for friends and family. Plus, lots of specialties to enjoy thanks to the preparations of restaurateurs and managers who bring their delicacies to the square, in an atmosphere full of charm.

Traveling performances
Local artists and theater companies will enliven the village streets with traveling performances, bringing smiles and fun to young and old alike. Dance and theater schools, musical groups and singing ensembles will engage the public with performances of their own in the Christmas theme. Highlight on Sunday, December 10, with the Disney parade through the streets of the historic center.

Nativity art
As per tradition, the Società Rionale di Porta Romana will inaugurate its nativity scene in the church of Santa Marta on December 8; on the same day, the increasingly rich Exhibition of Nativity Art organized by the Accademia Enogastronomica and set up partly inside the Church of the Servants of Mary and in the building of the former Pacioli School will also open its doors to visitors. The nativity will be celebrated again this year with the installation of the work of the same name of Piero della Francesca at the gates of the historic center. Also back is the living nativity by the Pro Loco of Gricignano: 4 appointments to truly experience the atmosphere of a story more than 2,000 years old.
