A new dinner of "Girogustando", the food events that see Tuscan restaurants host chefs from all over, to prepare four-handed menus.
On June 6, Ristorante Il Mestolo in Siena will host Antica Osteria Cerreto from Abbadia di Cerreto (Lodi), in the north of Italy. The Antica Osteria is a well-mentioned restaurant by italian food guides, its chef Nicola Scolari carries on his mother legacy; in Siena Scolari will serve an exclusive “Risotto Vecchia Lodi” and the “Tortionata”, a tipical cake of Lodi.
Nicoletta Marighella, female cook at Il Mestolo, will present first quality fish proposals: “Razza al forno su spuma di patate e zafferano di Siena e olive nere” (razza in the oven on potato and Siena saffron foam and black olives), and “Parmigiana di spigola, melanzane e mozzarella di bufala” (sea bass parmigiana, with aubergines and buffalo mozzarella).
During the dinner, sommeliers will serve high quality-wines.

Girogustando is an event made by Confesercenti Siena, included in Vetrina Toscana, a project by the Tuscany Region and Unioncamere Toscana that promotes restaurants, producers and speciality food stores.
