The Chamber Music Festival returns to Belforte

On July 29, August 5 and August 19 , the Belfortissimo Chamber Music Festival returns, bringing the village of Belforte to life with free outdoor concerts.

The festival features three performances by young musical ensembles, taking place in the setting of Via Santa Croce.

The concerts start at 6 PM. In case of rain, the events will be moved to another location, also in Belforte.

Program Details:

  • Tuesday, July 29: Le Fisarmoniche del Cimarosa
    An accordion quartet with Michele D’Addona, Andrea Ristaino, Graziano Celentano and Donato Iacurti. 
    The program features music by Piazzolla, Galliano, Battiston, Bach, Fancelli and Mokrousov.
  • Wednesday August 5: I Tre Moschettieri
    A cello quartet with Niccolò Bini, Duccio Dalpiaz, Anton Marashi and Giacomo Mazzetti. The concert features a dialog between classical repertoire, modern sounds and folk music, with music by Piazzolla/Gardel, Tchaikovsky, Morricone, Wagner, Byrd and Bartolomey
  • Wednesday August 19: Florence Brass Quintet
    A brass quintet with Giacomo Baroni and Simone Tei (trumpets), Giacomo Riccucci (horn), Cristiano Acciai (trombone) and Ares Avigliano (tuba). 
    The program ranges from Baroque to film music, including jazz standards and bossa nova, with music by Handel, Bach, Piccioni, Mancini, Powell, Jobim and Fischer.
