The festival dedicated to craft beer on Mount Amiata is back: Vulcano di Birra, in Arcidosso from June 16 to 18, at the tennis park in the renovated "Nido delle fate" facility.
There will be, as per tradition, craft beer, street food and music, but also some novelties.
For beer: six breweries - two from Tuscany, one from Friuli, one from Lombardy, one from Piedmont and a mix of Italian and international draft beer - for a total of 35 different draft beers.
For food: 5 corners with a wide and original selection of quality products mixing Tuscan tradition with recipes from other regions and countries, from classic beef and wild boar burgers to sandwiches with tripe, porchetta and octopus, from pizza a portafoglio and donzelle (salted fried dough), to arrosticini, and Tuscan necci, pancakes and ice rolls.
Music will accompany all three evenings from aperitifs to after dinner, with DJs and bands taking turns on stage to perform 50s Rock'n'roll, Italian Punk and 80s Dance music.
Also on the program are other activities and experiences, such as tasting workshops led by beer sommeliers.
As in previous editions, a celebratory festival glass will be created (new in graphics and shape) that each participant can purchase at the cash register along with tokens to consume the beer.
