From San Miniato, a hidden jewel along the route of the Via Francigena, the itinerary continues through a path of extraordinary beauty. Admire the thousand-year-old Pieve di Chianni, where Sigeric also stayed, and reach the fascinating towers of San Gimignano, immersing yourself in its medieval atmosphere.
The journey is not limited to the view, but also involves the palate. - Day 1: the journey will begin in San Miniato, a true jewel of the Via Francigena. The Seminary that gives its name to the main square will amaze you with its distinctive facade. Enjoy it while illuminated, perhaps after tasting a risotto sprinkled with the typical white truffle, the local pride.
- Day 2: walk from San Miniato to Gambassi Terme, 24 kilometers Elevation gain: +400 / -220 meters
- Day 3: walk from Gambassi Terme to San Gimignano, 13.5 kilometers Elevation gain: +350 / -350 meters
