Visit the Pescia Paper Museum

The museum is located in Pietrabuona in Pescia and has its headquarters in the eighteenth-century Cartiera Le Carte. The institution was founded with the intention of preserving the ancient art of processing and manufacturing "handmade paper" and raising awareness of the importance and evolution of paper production, an activity that has been present in the Pescia area since the end of the 15th century. 

Here you can choose between two experiences: 

1. Visit the Paper Mill Le Carte and the Filigrane Room of the Magnani Historical Archive 
   The proposal includes a visit to the restored industrial building and the narration of the history of the Magnani family and its rise in the entrepreneurial landscape of the time. A visit to the Filigrane Room of the Magnani Historical Archive is also planned. 
   The traditional visit is accompanied by an experience for adults and children, linked to the tradition of the ancient art of handmade paper, which can be chosen and decided according to the day of the visit and the availability of the museum.

2. Special visit "Director's Saturdays"
   Get the chance to discover Pescia Paper Museum with its director. The offer includes the same visits above-mentioned.
   When: First and third Saturday morning of each month, with reservation

• Reduced ticket 8 euro - Under 18 and Students, Over 65, people with disabilities
• Free ticket - Children up to 6 years, accompanying persons with disabilities, journalists (with press card valid for the current year), authorized guides
• Family Package A: 2 adults + a child 7-18 years 27 euros; Family Package B: 1 adults + 2 children 7-18 years 22 euros
