You will walk between one pass and another surrounded by the unique territory of the Apuan Alps Regional Park, while your eyes will get lost in admiring the majestic beauty of the area. We will reach Monte Pedone, considered the southernmost peak of the Apuan Alps, a grassy environment with a very special charm.
The panorama that can be admired from its 1013 meters (3320ft), considering the proximity to the coast, is truly incredible! The view extends from nearby Monte Piglione to the peaks further north, up to Liguria and the Alps in the distance. In fact, these mountains are panoramic balconies from which you can admire the coast of the Ligurian-Tyrrhenian Sea. The excursion will be enriched by stories about the nature and legends of these mountains.
