Nestled in an unspoilt rural landscape that is also perfect for cycling, you will stay in a beautifully restored Tuscan farmhouse combining traditional charm with every modern comfort. The accommodation offers two or three bedrooms and spacious living areas, making it ideal for families, couples or groups of friends. Outside, you will enjoy a private garden with a pergola, an outdoor dining area, a barbecue and a beautiful swimming pool – the perfect place to unwind after an unforgettable day.

Cycling enthusiasts will also appreciate the excellent facilities, including a secure bicycle garage, a locked storage room, dedicated bike racks, an e-bike charging station and a practical laundry room for washing and drying sports clothing.

Just a few kilometres from Casa del Fattore lies one of the world's most renowned truffle regions: the hills between San Miniato and Palaia. Thanks to the area's exceptional microclimate, ideal soil conditions and unspoilt natural environment, some of Italy's finest and most valuable truffles grow here.

Accompanied by an experienced local truffle hunter and his highly trained dogs, you will enjoy a fascinating guided excursion of approximately two hours (not included in the accommodation price – see "Excluded Services"). Walking through ancient woodlands and hidden forest paths, you will learn how truffles are found, discover the unique characteristics of these culinary treasures and hear traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Depending on the season, you can experience different varieties of truffles:

• Bianchetto Truffle (Tuber borchii): January to April
• Summer Truffle (Tuber aestivum): May to September
• Precious White Truffle: September to January

Few people know that one of the largest and most extraordinary truffles ever discovered was found in San Miniato, helping to establish the area as one of the world's most celebrated destinations for exceptional truffles.

After the excitement of the hunt, return to Casa del Fattore to enjoy the peaceful Tuscan countryside. Relax with dinner beneath the pergola or take a refreshing swim in the pool while the sun sets over the rolling hills.

The advertised daily rate refers to the two-bedroom accommodation for up to four guests. The chosen truffle hunting experience is available at an additional per-person cost.
