Three days relaxing getaway in Chianti

Three days and two-nights holiday package for those willing to discover the historical hamlets in the very heart of Tuscany, and its famous wine production area of Chianti Classico.

The first day, you will arrive in Poggibonsi, where you will stay in a charming estate. You will have a free day to enjoy and visit the city centre and the ancient medieval fortress, or explore the surroundings. The area is abundant in traces of history, parish churches, imposing castles and fortresses, all just a short walk from the modern atmosphere of a city.

The second day, you'll get to the heart of the holiday. Visit San Gimignano, the city whose towers have earned the name of "medieval Manhattan". It is one of the most recognizable and iconic destinations all over Tuscany. After strolling around its charming medieval city centre, you could enjoy and taste the best Chianti wines in a family-run winery not far from San Gimignano.

On the third day, after check out, on your way to Siena, you will stop in a small medieval hamlet of Monteriggioni. A breathtaking views from the ancient fortress that dominates one of the most beautiful stretches of Via Francigena is a must-see. Considered one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Italy, Monteriggioni boasts magnificent exterior walls with fourteen towers on square bases and buildings inside. 

Next destination: Siena, today is largely the same as it would have appeared back in 1300.
