Explore Tuscany in a unique way
Meet us at the -Tuscany on Wheels- office, where our friendly team will welcome you before guiding you through the rolling hills near San Gimignano sharing interesting facts about the area.
At the horse riding school, nestled in the serene Tuscan countryside, meet the horses. No worries if you are new to horseback riding, our skilled staff ensures a slow and comfortable walk. We'll leisurely trot past vineyards, woods and olive groves, treating you to breathtaking views for about an hour.
Afterward, relish a traditional Tuscan meal and wine tasting at a local winery. Enjoy delicious antipasti toscani (bruschetta, pecorino cheese, Tuscan cured meats), lasagna with truffle oil, ribolita bread soup and cantuccini biscuits for dessert. Taste renowned wines like Chianti Classico, Vernaccia white wine, and Super Tuscans.
Finally, relaxed & with a happy heart, return to the starting point.

Meeting point
Plan
- We recommend wearing closed shoes; no flip-flops or sandals. Wear long trousers. You can get changed at the ranch.
- Max weight accepted is 110kg
- No people younger than 15 years old
- We use English saddles. Previous experience is not required; It's an easy walk, not a trott.
- Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free option is available upon request
- If you are interested in the horseback ride only and not the full tour, you can book the "Ride only"option
Please note: during hot days (July & August) the departure time might be anticipated. We will make sure to get in touch so please keep as reference the last communications received from the office
Cancellation
and no-show policies
- For cancellations communicated in writing to info@tuscanyonwheels.com within at least 2 (two) days/ 48h prior to the tour, our Agency allows the clients to receive a full refund of the amount paid less 10% administration fees
- No refund will be possible when canceling the reservation of the tour/activity with less than at least 2 (two) days notice/ 48h prior to the booked excursion date
- No refund will be given to those clients who do not show up at the correct departure time and point, or to those who lose contact with the guide and therefore do not complete the excursion
- It is the passenger's responsibility to get in touch with the Tour Operator if running late to the meeting point or if you can’t find the guide in order to assist you as much as possible. If you miss the tour, no refund will be possible. If the customer wishes to reschedule the same-day tour to a different date, the full amount of the tour must be repaid
- The passenger is always due to the meeting point 15 mins/20mins before the departure
No refunds will be made in respect of any unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip
