Garfagnana: walking and cycling

Thanks to some easy excursions, we will immerse ourselves in the landscapes full of magical atmospheres of this valley. 
Garfagnana is situated in north-western Tuscany, between the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. 

We will walk and cycle between villages and fortresses of medieval origin, discovering unique traditions and tasting typical products born from a close link between man and the environment. 

For the whole trip we will be based at the Agriturismo Braccicorti, a typical stone farmhouse surrounded by small buildings once used for drying chestnuts ('metati'), in the Pieve Fosciana area. 

The program at a glance: 

• Day 1: arrival and accommodation in a farmhouse
• Day 2: in the morning excursion on foot to Villa Collemandina and Castiglione di Garfagnana, in the afternoon visit to a farmhouse
• Day 3: excursion with our bicycles in the National Park of the Tuscan Apennines -Emiliano Appennino; visit to the Rocca delle Verrucole and Cooperative Garfagnana in San Romano and to the village of Sambuca
• Day 4: free day

Notes:
The tour is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
In addition to personal clothing and toiletries, it is imperative to bring appropriate clothing and footwear for hiking and cycling.
