Florence countryside tour
Through vineyards, olive groves and hills, the route reaches Vinci, Leonardo’s village, on a short, scenic and enjoyable Tuscan ride
This e-bike tour starts in the centre of Florence and follows a scenic 16-kilometre itinerary that blends the elegance of the city with its most famous hillside slopes.
After the first urban sections, the route climbs towards Pian dei Giullari, one of the most charming areas of the Florentine hills, set in a landscape of villas, gardens, olive groves, and beautiful views over the city. The tour then continues to Piazzale Michelangelo, the panoramic viewpoint par excellence, offering an extraordinary view over Florence’s historic center, the Arno, and the city’s main monuments. From here, the route heads towards Santa Maria a Montici, crossing a quieter residential area where the pace becomes more relaxed, and the ride stays smooth and enjoyable. The second part of the tour brings you back towards the river, following the Lungarni along a very evocative stretch that lets you experience Florence from a different perspective, among historic palaces, views over the water, and less hectic corners of the city.
The return to the center is made even more special by passing through the Rampe descending towards San Niccolò, one of Florence’s most characteristic and beloved spots, perfect for ending the ride with a scenic touch.
It is an ideal tour for those who want to discover Florence by e-bike in a dynamic yet relaxed way, alternating accessible climbs, iconic views, and charming urban sections.
