Trekking in the Acquerino Forest Reserve

We greet the Summer with an easy trails within the Acquerino-Cantagallo Nature Reserve, a protected area in the heart of the Apennines

Our itinerary takes place in the most scenic part of the Reserve, among natural springs, monumental trees, and wide clearings.
We will walk in the shade of a beautiful beech forest, following the Limentra di Treppio, a stream with clear, fresh water even in summer. We’ll enjoy exploring its most picturesque spots: large boulders, small waterfalls, and a surprising natural pool.

We’ll stop along the stream for a refreshing break, where you can dip your feet or walk in the water; the more adventurous may even take a dip in the deeper pools. The return route follows the riverbank again, offering a chance to discover the variety of forest and river ecosystems.

The tour will take place on Saturday, July 19, starting at 10:00 AM.
